Safety Considerations
Injectables are safe but no invasive treatment is entirely without risk and should only be administered by a trained medical professional.
Fat Dissolving Injections are contraindicated for people with the following conditions.
Liver Disease
Reduced liver function impairs the bodies ability to safely clear the wasted resulting from these injections.
Kidney Disease
Again, inefficient or damaged kidneys may not be able to eliminate bi products of broken down fat cells
Heart conditions or cardiovascular disease
May increase risk of complications, especially if there is poor circulation
Diabetes
Can interfere with wound healing and increase the risk of infection. In addition, any fluctuations in blood sugar complicates treatment.
Autoimmune Disease
Conditions such as Lupus, or rheumatoid arthritis can increase the risk adverse reactions or unpredictable responces to the injections.
Pregnancy or breast feeding
It has not been confirmed that it is safe to administer these treatments during pregnancy or when breast feeding
Blood clotting disorders
Increase the risk of Hematoma at injection sites.
Obesity or large areas of fat
Injections are not suitable for obesity or large areas of fat. Injections target small areas of localised fat such as a double chin or fat on the back of the arm.

Other Considerations
People with poor skin elasticity may not be good candidates for localised fat dissolving injections as the skin may not contract well after the fat has been dissolved. This will worsen the overall effect of loose or saggy skin.
